1. Persons Under the Age of 14 must not be in the Pool without an Adult's (18+ years old)  Supervision.

2. Glass Items are NOT(!!!)  ever to be present in the pool area.

• • Immediate Notification Required in Case of Glass Breakage in or around the Pool!

Ensuring the safety of all our guests is of utmost importance to us. Therefore, we urge you to notify us immediately if any glassware is broken in or around the pool area.

• • Prompt notification is crucial as it may necessitate draining and refilling the pool due to safety concerns. The average cost for treating and refilling a pool of our size, which holds 35,000 gallons, typically ranges from $1500 to $2000 according to national averages.

Furthermore, failing to report glass breakage promptly could potentially impact future bookings and the satisfaction of guests staying nearby. In such cases, you may be held responsible for the costs associated with any lost reservations at neighboring properties.

**We cannot emphasize enough the importance of adhering to this warning and promptly notifying us of any glass breakage incidents.**

3. Extended Breath Holding Activities are Dangerous and Prohibited.

To maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and ensure the well-being of all our guests, we kindly request your compliance with the following rule:

• • This precautionary measure is necessary to prevent the potential spread of any waterborne illnesses.

At Diamond Vacation Rentals, we take pride in maintaining the sanitation of our common areas, and the pool serves as an amenity for several houses. Therefore, it is essential to uphold the cleanliness and hygiene of our shared spaces at all times.

Additionally, we kindly ask that you take responsibility for cleaning up after yourselves. Leave the pool area in the same pristine condition as you found it, ensuring that it remains enjoyable for all guests.

5. No Pets in the Pool Area

While we adore our adorable furballs, it's imperative to remember that we're frolicking in a public pool. Our aquatic oasis must maintain its pristine hygiene, and, regrettably, that means Spike's precious hairs aren't welcome in our sparkling waters.

• • If any pets happen to venture into the pool's fenced premises, we have a legal obligation to impose a fee of $250 until we assess further damages. Should our diligent staff uncover excessive mess a Pool Drainage Fee could be incurred. Let's keep the splashes mermaid-worthy and not allow any canine (or any other type of pets) contributions to our pool. 

6. Maximum Pool Capacity: 12 persons

We won't enforce this rule too strictly; instead, we're implementing it to remind you that wild parties are not allowed. Large gatherings that overcrowd the pool or hinder other guests' access should be avoided.

Additionally, we'd like to emphasize the safety issues that arise when there are too many people and the risk of not being able to monitor a potential drowning incident. Our main objective is to ensure everyone has a great time while prioritizing safety.

7. Pool Hours 6 am - 11pm

On days when all houses are booked and there are multiple bookings, guests will be asked to indicate their preference for either shared access to the pool common areas during specific times or the reservation of 4-hour blocks of time for each guest to ensure fair access.

• Reservations will be made on a first-come, first-served basis, with the first person to book being asked for their preference and scheduled accordingly. No time slots longer than 4 hours will be permitted unless previously arranged with the host.

Pool Hours may be subject to change due, to pool maintenance or cleaning. We do our best of keeping guests informed of anything that needs to be done to the pool at any given time. 

The pool's operating hours are from 6 am until 11 pm. Please note that monitoring of pool goers will not extend beyond these hours. If you choose to use the pool outside of these designated hours, kindly be aware that there is NEVER a lifeguard on duty, and it is essential to respect your neighbors.

• • We kindly request that you refrain from engaging in any inappropriate behavior such as loud music, late-night parties, or skinny dipping. No funny business. As a family-run business, our aim is to ensure a family-friendly environment for all our guests.

8. No Lifeguard on Duty 

Our establishment does not provide a lifeguard service, therefore, it is crucial for you to ensure the safety of yourself and your guests. Particularly, it is important to vigilantly supervise any minors in the pool area. Our policy strictly prohibits the unsupervised presence of individuals under the age of 14 in or near the pool, as stated clearly in the waiver you have signed.
